Braxton Gillam is a Jacksonville-based trial lawyer, board certified in both Business Litigation and Civil Trial Law, and a dedicated Bar leader running for President-Elect of The Florida Bar. He has built his career around a deep commitment to the profession with meaningful leadership in local and statewide voluntary bar organizations.
Braxton currently serves on The Florida Bar’s Board of Governors on behalf of the 4th Judicial Circuit and is a member of the Executive Committee. He has led key committees focused on programming, investment, and legislation. He is also the 2025–2026 Chair of the Florida Bar Trial Lawyers Section and is a past president of the Jacksonville Bar Association.
Braxton brings a deep understanding of our profession and a demonstrated record of leadership focused on strengthening professionalism, fostering connections, and supporting the future of our Florida Bar.
If elected, Braxton would serve as the 2027-2028 Florida Bar President.
